{"id":4883,"date":"2012-02-11T11:40:20","date_gmt":"2012-02-11T11:40:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.yourhrworld.com\/formats\/?p=4883"},"modified":"2012-02-11T11:40:20","modified_gmt":"2012-02-11T11:40:20","slug":"letter-of-appointment-as-a-consultant-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yourhrworld.com\/formats\/hr\/letter-of-appointment-as-a-consultant-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Letter of Appointment as a consultant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u00a0I have Attached Letter of Appointment as a consultant<\/strong><\/p><div class=\"69eb924294c115e6505da44099e8df92\" data-index=\"1\" style=\"float: none; margin:10px 0 10px 0; text-align:center;\">\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"><!--\r\ngoogle_ad_client = \"pub-0867779017855679\";\r\n\/* 300x250, created 4\/20\/11 *\/\r\ngoogle_ad_slot = \"1035864135\";\r\ngoogle_ad_width = 300;\r\ngoogle_ad_height = 250;\r\n\/\/-->\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script type=\"text\/javascript\"\r\nsrc=\"http:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/show_ads.js\">\r\n<\/script>\n<\/div>\n\n<p>CONSULTANCY AGREEMENT<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This agreement is made on the &lt;<strong>date&gt;<\/strong> day of &lt;<strong>month<\/strong> <strong>year&gt;<\/strong>, between <strong>Mr. \/Ms. &lt;Name&gt; <\/strong>aged about <strong>&lt;age&gt;<\/strong> residing at &lt;<strong>Address, City, Pin<\/strong>&gt; [herein after referred to as Consultant] of the one part and <strong>&lt;Name of company&gt;<\/strong> having its registered office at &lt;<strong>office address in full&gt;<\/strong> [herein after referred to as the Company] of the second part.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This agreement has been entered into between the Consultant and the Company and will be effective from <strong>&lt;effective date&gt;<\/strong> for a period of <strong>ELEVEN MONTHS<\/strong> i.e. up to <strong>&lt;end date&gt;.<\/strong> This agreement supersedes all previous agreements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now this agreement witnesses the following terms and conditions agreed between the parties and are binding on both.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The consultant shall be engaged under the designation of &lt;\u201d<strong>Designation- Department\u201d&gt; <\/strong>based at &lt;<strong>Location<\/strong>&gt;.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The consultant will work on all working days during the tenure of the agreement, and in no circumstances may the consultant engage himself in any other business whatsoever whilst so engaged.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The consultant shall not indulge in any act or omission, which is likely to harm the reputation of the company. The consultant will be signing the Non Disclosure Agreement of the company.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The consultant shall be paid remuneration of <strong>Rs. &lt;salary\/-&gt; &lt; (salary in words)&gt; <\/strong>per month excluding service tax on consultation on the succeeding <strong>&lt;payroll date&gt;<\/strong> of the calendar month during the agreement period.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The consultant shall be paid remuneration as under during the agreement period:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mention all details of compensation to be paid; for e.g.:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical coverage will be provided to the consultant and his family to the extent of Rs\u2026..\/- p.a. for hospitalization expenses only, apart from Group personal accident &amp; workmen\u2019s compensation coverage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The variable salary component, termed as <strong>Performance Linked Pay (PLP)<\/strong> will be pegged at 20% of your annual remuneration, and will be based on metrics, covering the business, financial and performance parameters and will be based on a combination of-<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The performance of the company as a whole <strong>(7%)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The performance of the Business vertical and the Region concerned <strong>(7%)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The performance of the Consultant <strong>(6%)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mobile expenses will be reimbursed as per company policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conveyance expenses will be reimbursed as per company policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The consultant shall be provided a company vehicle which is to be maintained as per company policy (<strong>if vehicle will be provided)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The consultant shall serve the company loyally, faithfully and diligently and shall at all times safeguard and protect the interest of the company.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The consultant shall not have any financial transaction with other consultants or customer\/suppliers of the company.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The consultant shall not be entitled for benefits like gratuity, PF, and any other fringe benefits except mentioned in this agreement.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>10. The consultant shall be entitled for <strong>&lt;no. of leave days&gt; days<\/strong> of leave per annum. Unavailed leave shall lapse at the end of the period of the contract.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>11. Either party will be at liberty to terminate the agreement by giving one month\u2019s notice in writing with or without assigning any reasons.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>12.
