Definition of overtime<\/h4>\n<p>\u2022\tOvertime is time worked that exceeds the hours of a full-time employee\u2019s regular daily schedule on pay status or exceeds 40 hours on pay status in a workweek.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tPay status includes time worked and paid leave such as sick leave, military leave, compensatory time off, vacation leave, holidays, and administrative leave with pay.<\/p>\n<h4>2. Overtime Rates<\/h4>\n<p>When employee work overtime, they will be paid at rate:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tMonday to Friday: 1.5 x hourly rate.<br \/>\n\u2022\tSaturday, Sunday:  2.0 x hourly rate.<br \/>\n\u2022\tHolidays: 3.0 x hourly rate.<\/p>\n<h4>3. Principles of working overtime<\/h4>\n<p>Employees are paid for working overtime provide that they must be in compliance with principles as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tAny overtime working must be agreed in advance with the line manager.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tOvertime will only be paid for periods of more than one hour in any day.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tAdvance warning of overtime working will be given wherever  practicable, but it is inevitable that some overtime may be required at  short notice due to sickness or other emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tClaims must be made monthly, for overtime worked in the previous month, on authorized claim forms.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tPayments will be made through the payroll.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yourhrworld.com\/formats\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/Overtime-Policy.doc\">Click Here To Download Overtime Policy<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px; margin: 0; padding: 0; clear: both;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overtime policy 1.
