Types of sexual harassment<\/h4>\n<p>Sexual harassment can occur in a variety of circumstances, including but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tThe victim does not have to be the person harassed but could be anyone affected by the offensive conduct.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tUnlawful sexual harassment may occur without economic injury to or discharge of the victim.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tThe victim as well as the harasser may be a woman or a man. The victim does not have to be of the opposite sex.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tThe harasser can be the victim\u2019s supervisor, an agent of the employer, a supervisor in another area, a co-worker, or a non-employee.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tThe harasser\u2019s conduct must be unwelcome.<\/p>\n<h4>3. Process of sexual harassment<\/h4>\n<p>\u2022\tWhen an employee complains to a supervisor, another employee, or the human resources office, about sexual harassment, an immediate investigation of the charge should occur.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tSupervisors should immediately involve human resources staff. Employees need to understand that they have an obligation to report sexual harassment concerns to their supervisor or the human resources office.<\/p>\n<h4>4.
