Arrow Boss will not give me experienece letter - Need advice!

Hi Seniors,

I'm in big dillema, thought i should take advice from seniors.I'm currently working in a start-up S/w co which has around 8-9 employees, although my designation is HR Geheralist but i handle, admin , accounting and lilttle legal activities also. Now yesterday I was offered a post of HR Generalist in one of India's biggest retail store. The only clinche with them is that they want me to join immediately..as they have to relieve the HR person who is currently working with them. They asked me if i can take 5 days off from present Co. work with them and then come back and serve notice period of 15 days.

I really m very confused, if i leave the present organisation, my boss will never give me experience letter..coz he is a person who takes gurdge against each and every person who wants to leave his organisation, if i dont leave, i will be loosing the opportunity of working with good & big brand name.

Could the seniors please advice something.

Regards,
Rasheed

Dear Rasheed,

It is a very typical situation, as such most of the people must have passed on from such kind of situation.

Change is inevitable, that everybody knows. But it is always good if you leave the organisation in good harmony. I know it is very difficult, because once you have put up yours papers, you are an unimportant person for them.

But this is the only way.

You can always share your problem with company in which you are going to join, exceptions are always there. As we also permit to join the employees having such problem in some of the exception cases.
