Of late, I come across some resumes without DOB. During the interview I ask them for the same and write down in front of them. The candidates themselves decide this as if they are in the US and mentioning it is a 'taboo'.

In the Indian context, we go by DOB basically to fix a person for a Jr/Middle/Sr level based on his age and experience. Without mentioning that really looks awkward.

Has the trend changed? May I look forward to your opinion dear friends?
