I m Feras,i m pursuing mba from sikkim manipal university (distance education) and going to do my project work on the topic "recruitment and selection" in automobile(manufacturing) unit plz give me guidelines where to start, how to prepare questionnaire etc...ALSO i m bit confused about who will answer questionnaire questions i think it is head of HRD or sum1 else plzzzzzzz GUIDE ME.......... Interesting yet simple topic for your project. here is what you need to do as a procedure...

1. Understand the industry - Look at what Automobile industry is ? Where is it ? what is the organization structure followed in this industry? what are the main important department in an automobile industry ?

When you do this you will see some unique features emerge - Automobile industry are present in pockets all over india like Pune, Chennai, NCR are few pockets of this industry.

2. Once you understand the industry, making questionaires for every department or organization will not be a problem. Make 2 different questionaires. 1 for the HR to give you an organizational perspective and second for departmental heads t give you a more focussed perspective.

3. Anwers to your questionaire will eventually decide the format of your project report.
