Bank transaction charges
Dear all
Please advise status of law on following-
(a) Can state treasury of a Distt issue cheques for salary or on misc accounts to state org through Main Branch SBI of the Distt only?
(b) In case part of the state org is spread to other Distt/ Tehsils, can state treasury of that Distt issue cheque on acct of salary and misc accounts through SBI of the tehsil under a different Distt where subunit of that org is located.
(c) The bank at khurja where the personal accounts of the state employees exist is deducting bank transaction charges once salary cheque ( issued for SBI Aligarh) is deposited to it to credit the same in their respective accounts. Can a bank deduct bank/cheque transaction charges from their salary in the above case? If so, under what rules and what is the rate of transaction charges?
Please advise action so that employees get their entitled salary without any deduction.
