Default Pf Deduction Of An Unskilled Worker

DEAR ALL,

I WANT TO KNOW THAT WHAT ARE THE POLICY FOR PROVIDENT FUND DEDUCTION OF AN UNSKOLLED LABOUR???

AFTER HOW MUCH DURATION THEY CAN BE ELIGIBLE FOR LEAVE BENEFITS?

Hi,

The payment / contribution to PF is calculated on basis of PF act. It is 12% of basic wages. Same amount has to be contributed by the employer also. Whether the employee is skilled or unskilled, he has to be covered under PF is he is on the company's rolls. If he is a casual worker, need not cover him under PF (see the act in detail for further info).

Every organization has its own leave policy. Leaves can be categorized into -
1. Casual leave
2. Sick leave
3. Earned leave
4. Compensatory off.

Some companies approve leaves after the employee is confirmed. But it depends entirely on your co's policy.
