Arrow Maintaining registers for Labour law

Dear all,

We are a Start-up IT company based in coimbatore, Tamilnadu almost a year old with employee (s/w engineers) strength of less than 5. I would like to know what type registers I need to maintain in our organisation as per the labour act to produce it to the Labour administration of Government.

Also do we fall under "THE LABOUR LAWS (EXEMPTION FROM FURNISHING RETURNS AND MAINTAINING REGISTERS BY CERTAIN ESTABLISHMENTS) ACT, 1988". If yes or no, then what are the registers I have to produce to them ?.

I appreciate your help.
Thanks & Regards
Ashana
