Lightbulb Do You Care For Your Eyes ?

Nature has provided us with such intense organs that can sustain the ill effects of the atmosphere; however, there is a limit to which our organs can face these challenges. With age, they become weak and may finally collapse to external challenges if they are not nourished and looked after regularly.
Do’s and Don’ts for Healthy Eyes :-
Do's:-
1. Try to make Milk, Fruits / Fruit Juices, Fresh green Vegetables, Honey, Lemon etc. as part of daily diet.
2. Perform exercises like swimming / jogging / yoga etc. regularly to improve circulation and bring freshly oxygenated blood to the eyes.
3. Palm your eyes with both hands gently without applying pressure regularly at intervals while performing strenuous work.
4. Face the sun with eyes closed for 5-10 minutes in the morning and evening to give a mild sun treatment to the eyes
5. Wash your eyes regularly with plain cool water regularly in the morning as well as at night
6. While reading or working for long hours take intervals and look outside the window or at long distance to relieve strain.

Don'ts

1. Do not watch T.V. from a distance of less than 10 feet and for more than 45 minutes at a stretch.
2. Do not consume large amounts of coffee, tea, fried foods, sugar, spicy foods etc.
3. Do not write / read and watch T.V. at the same time
4. Do not consume high calorie food
5. Do not indulge into excessive smoking or chewing pan masala as it may lead to impaired vision
6. Do not perform strenuous work like reading, sewing etc. without proper intervals
7. Do not use the computer continuously without proper intervals
8. Do not see solar eclipse with unaided eyes
