Hi All,

It been in my mind for a long time. What are the reasons that a company requires a HR dept? Is it only for payroll or admin. Since even operations managers conduct interviews(including giving a headcount of new recruits that will be required), what is the real purpose of HRM and HR dept in any Company?
Please guide me in this regard
