Have you looked into a web-based time management system? The reason I ask is I'm an HR professional myself and we had been evaluating various softwares to assist in tracking and managing employee time as well as time off.

I attended a webinar hosted by Replicon regarding thier Web TimeSheet Time & Attendance software. The company looks pretty solid; it's been in business since 1996 and each year it seems to grow.
