Dear members...
I am working with a domestic Software and BPO organisation. In my appointment letter, there is a clause which reads as... " Not to solicit, seek or accept employment from any customer, client or supplier of company where I am assigned during the course of my employment and for a period of one year hereafter..." Now I am getting an offer from one of the client of the company. Also, my company is closing down the operations in Delhi and shifting the entire operations to Mumbai (Head Office). I was never involved with this client that is offering me a job... My query is, if the client is offering me a job, can I accept that... And in case I do so, what my current company can do legally... Is this not against my fundamental right to free profession...???? Please help and suggest... __________________ Kamal |
