Completed degree(distance education) can do full time MBA

Hi,

Please help me in getting some information regarding IIM,my friend is doing B.Sc(IT) as a distance education from Sikkim Manipal University, is he eligible for M.B.A in IIM. Or any other well recognised university/colleges where he can do his MBA.
