Now a days the funds in PF getting 8.5% interest rate. Banks are offering now interest rate 9-9.5%. It is more than that of in some local banks or some other financial institutes.

There may be a trend that everyone will tend to withdraw or take advance from PF funds to invest that same amount for higher income. That will make difficult to Pf organisation and also effect the social security benefits of employee.

The trustee of PF organisation also demands interest rate at 12%. (The meeting is schduled on 25th july 2008
