Acceptance of Resignation Letter from Board Member

For some important designations in the company, an Acceptance of Resignation letter is written by one of the board members to acknowledge the resignation of the employee. This is not something which can be accepted by the HR Manager like in other cases as it needs special approval because of seniority of the position.

Here is a format sample of acceptance of resignation letter from board member which gives you a base for creating your own formal letter consisting of all the important information that needs a mention in such letters. Use it to write your own letter.

The board of members has decided to accept your decision to resign after a thoughtful discussion. You have always been an important pillar of our organization and the Company will always miss you. We know that you are resigning because of your health issues and the Company understands your need. The only reason because of which we have accepted your resignation is our concern for your wellbeing.

Please ensure that all your work responsibilities are completed. We will try and finish all the required paper formalities before your last day.

We wish you the best in your life.
