Good Evening Friends,

A colleague of mine was working in a service company from 1996 to 2001. He neither withdrew nor got his PF transferred to the new company.

Also, the company was based out of hyderabad. Since 2001 he has been in bangalore. He wants to know if has to go to Hyderabad and apply for withdrawal of his PF or can he do it from bangalore itself.

If so, please help us with the procedure for the same.

He doesn't need to go to hyderabad for the procedure...he can do procedure for the same from Banglore....Ask him to fill up form NO. 10c, 19 and SSN (recently included).duly filled up form to be sent to old company. There officials would do further procedure. He can keep in touch with them to know status....As it has been long time it will take some time to reopen old case...bt withdrawal is surely possible...
