Lightbulb Re: MBA – Finance OR MBA – HR OR MBA - Banking

Hi,

Everybody at some point of time in life may land up in the same situation which you are into, including me..

Firstly, Do a research on the net on individual subjects and check what each subjects consists of. OR if you go through the syllabi of any MBA school, you will find the subjects.. I have the list of subjects. if you need let me know..

Next, interrogate, where exactly you fit and where your interests lies..

I would like to give you my example:

I took Finance as my major subject in Graduation level. And have opted for the same in Post Graduation also..Luckily, I am the HR in a recruitment consultancy now and i realise i would fit this bill perfectly.. since i am in 1st year, I am planning to include HR also as my specialization.. I am pursuing PGDBA through Symbiosis. . Hopefully , i can take out time for my studies and complete the Dual specialization, which i am planning to take up next year..

If you are good at calculations, analytical skills, play with money(as in major finance projects) go for finance.

IF you are an extrovert, love knowing people and psychology, HR is best!

IF you extremely good at creativity, Marketing is awesome!

Remember, no subject is bad, provided you ENJOY !!

Hope this gyan helps you in deciding and if so, please let me know..

Good luck..

Regards,
Bhaskar
