Hi Aarti,

I think an office cannot be totally paperless, but yes mostly we can make it paperless, by making use of online interactions. like intranet and internet and winpopup, telphone. with intranet u can communicate with ur empolyees on all the issues. with internet u can interact with ur external clients. winpopup comes to help if an employee is not seeing intranet and an urgent message need to be sent to his/her system. Telephonic conversation u can do with ur seniors/juniors/clients etc and can save time in sending and receiving papers on petty things.

but disadvantages lies when u speak and finalise a deal and no hard copy is kept, what if the system goes for a toss, in emergency u are left out with nothing then. hence paper interaction is needed, and legal issues of office needs paper work, and proof based on paper is more valid than on system.

hope u got to some extent idea rest my freinds will pour in.

regards,
Shelly
