Kindly Address the Query - Attendence Policy
Dear Friends,
Our company (private company owned by single person) has formulated following Attendence policy:
* Company business starts from 09.00 AM to 6.00 PM with a lunch break of 30 minutes
* An employee coming to office after 09.10 AM are marked as LATE and:-
* Late of 3 days upto 09.30 AM are allowed in a month, and in case employee comes late more than 3 times then for each late comings ½ day’s leaves/salary to the credit of the employee shall be deducted.
Please answer following queries:
* Has employer got the right to deduct half day's salary if the employee is late by more than 10 minutes?
* If yes, can I know the act.
* If no, what actions can be taken against it?
